Newsletter No. 1, 2019 from Training Center for Sustainable Forest Management and Forest Certification 

The first newsletter of the Training Center for Sustainable Management and Certification introduces the establishment process of the Center, an overview of reduced impact logging training course – one of the important contents in the training curriculum, achievements in seedlings development – a key factor contributing to improve the quality and efficiency of plantation forests of the Forestry Science Center for North of Central Vietnam, and some initial achievements of Training Center for SFM and FC. We hope these articles will help readers have more information about the Training Center for SFM and FC – a promising new capacity training model with the mission to be a factor in consolidating and improving knowledge and skills in the implementation of SFM and FC, not only to contribute to the process of promoting the implementation of the Vietnam Forestry Development Strategy, but also towards the country’s sustainable development future.
